APOSTOLIC TRUTH CHURCH

"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it." Malachi 3:10

"And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common... Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them... and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need." — Acts 4:32, 34-35

Got Questions?

Giving should never feel uncertain. Here's everything you might want to know.
Do I have to give to be part of the church?

No. You are welcome at Apostolic Truth Church whether you give or not. The Bible teaches that each of us should give what we have decided in our heart, "not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Corinthians 9:7). No one should ever feel pressured — we invite you to pray and give as the Lord leads.

What's the difference between tithes and offerings?

The tithe — the first tenth of our income — was the starting point of giving under the old covenant (Malachi 3:10). But when we look at the New Testament church, something remarkable happens: the believers "had everything in common" and sold possessions to give to anyone in need (Acts 2:44–45). No one demanded it of them — grace simply removed the ceiling. So we don't see ten percent as a target to reach, but as a floor to build from. Offerings are everything we give beyond it, as worship, faith and thanksgiving. The question the gospel asks is never "how little can I give?" but "how much has been given to me?"

Where does my giving actually go?

Your giving supports Sunday worship, Bible Connect and discipleship, children's ministry, outreach in Alperton, Wembley and Brent, hospitality, and the practical costs of keeping the doors open. We handle every gift with prayer, integrity and accountability.

What is Gift Aid and how do I add it?

If you're a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid lets us claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give — at no cost to you. Simply complete a Gift Aid declaration once, and it covers your future giving too. Just make sure you pay enough UK tax to cover the amount claimed.

Can I set up regular giving?

Yes — a standing order through your bank is the simplest way (account details above). Regular giving helps the church plan wisely and serve faithfully.
